Panglima Fatima 'Babu Balu'

Panglima Fatima ‘Babu Balu’ of Tandubas from the Tawi Tawi muslim tribe fought with her husband and his soldiers then took the place of her husband after he was killed in battle. She lead them to a victorious fight and succeeded as the local dignitary and ruler. She was recorded as being friendly and loyal to the Americans and was recognised by the American administration as Panglima.
